Delaware residents who meet low-to-moderate income criteria may qualify for tuition assistance through funding provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This state-sponsored grant can cover a significant portion (or in some cases, all) of the bootcamp tuition for eligible participants. (Delaware is investing ARPA funds to help residents skill up in high-demand fields.) Delaware residents will need to provide income verification to determine eligibility. We guide applicants through this process once they apply for the bootcamp.
A scholarship program sponsored by JPMorgan Chase targeting Opportunity Youth (ages 18–24) in Wilmington, DE and surrounding areas. If you’re between 18 and 24, not currently in school or a full-time job, this sponsorship could fully fund your bootcamp tuition. It’s designed to uplift young adults into technology careers. Limited slots are available for each cohort, and candidates may need to go through an additional screening or application for the sponsorship. We actively partner with community organizations to identify and support eligible youth for this program.
Code Differently is an approved training provider under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) in Delaware and Pennsylvania. If you are unemployed, underemployed, or otherwise eligible under WIOA guidelines, you may obtain a state-issued training voucher that pays for your course tuition. This can apply to our certification courses (like CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft courses) and possibly our bootcamp. We provide the necessary course outlines and quotes for you to submit to your local job center or career link. Our team can assist you in connecting with your state’s workforce development office to start this process.
Code Differently is a certified vendor on the Delaware Government Support Services (GSS) state training contract. This means Delaware state agencies (and potentially employees) can procure our training services through the pre-approved state vendor list. If you are a Delaware state employee or agency representative, you can enroll staff in our courses using state funds or departmental professional development budgets via the GSS schedule, simplifying payment and compliance. (For individuals, this might not be a direct funding source unless your employer sponsors you, but we include it for transparency and for any state-funded trainees.)
